Everyone advising the couple said a deep slate would shrink the kitchen. The preview said otherwise: with the cabinetry and marble untouched, the dark wall gave the room its missing edge.
Because the recolour keeps every highlight where it was, the steel and stone read true. They ordered the slate, and the painter worked from the saved preview.
